If you're in the market for investing in a detached home, you would be very well off investing your time and money into any one of the Newmarket detached homes for sale. Why Newmarket? Well, the city of Newmarket is not so massive that it's rowdy and noisy to live in like, say, Toronto... and it is also far enough out of the way that rural living on the outskirts of the city is quite common. Detached homes are quite literally that: homes that are on their own land, "detached" from all others (the polar opposite of townhomes). Detached homes also encompass a very wide variety of housing types, including bungalows, ranchers, mobile homes, backsplits, single-story, sidesplits, multi-story, and cottages. All of these types of detached homes are designed for an equally diverse range of families, including bachelors/bachelorettes, couples, single families, multi-member families, business entrepreneurs, among many others. Detached homes also tend to have larger yard space and single or multi-vehicle garages as well, perfect for traveling families (unless it's a mobile home, in which case, it wouldn't have a garage). Another benefit to the detached homes of Newmarket is that they are also very close to a lot of the city's amenities thanks to the city's major roadways.
As far as detached homes go in Newmarket, the major roadways of the city are conveniently laid out to the point that they help in making sure that, no matter where you are (and no matter which of the Newmarket detached homes for sale you chose), you will be close to amenities. The major amenities of Newmarket are centered around the intersection of Yonge Street and Davis Drive, containing the Upper Canada Mall (loaded with boutiques and shops to interest all), and around the intersection, one can find a few fast food places/restaurants, an LCBO, a pharmacy, a gas station, a couple of coffee shops, along with a public library and several parks. If you're interested in checking out the parks, you will have access to plenty of them across the city, with just a handful of the examples including Jacarandah Park, Charles Van Zant Park, Drew Doak Park, Arnhem Park, and Whipper Billy Watson Park. Besides that, you even have some golf courses to really satiate the appetites of any golf enthusiasts in Newmarket, with some examples of those being Cardinal Golf Club, Bradford Highlands Golf Club, Pheasant Run Golf Club, St Andrews Valley Golf Club, and Shawneeki Golf Club.
In living in any of the Newmarket detached homes for sale, you will be able to explore a great deal many places near to Newmarket as well. The Highway 400 and Highway 404 run on opposite sides of the city, with both of them heading southward into Toronto (in the case of the Highway 404, all the way to the lakeshore and the famous Waterfront District, where people can hang out at Ontario Place or go visit all of the boutiques and shops there), while heading northward, the Highway 404 ends not too far from the shores of Lake Simcoe (lots of watersports and relaxing on the beach), while the Highway 400 continues VERY far to the north, all the way up towards Parry Sound on the shores of Lake Superior. Ultimately, that sort of highway would make for an incredible weekend getaway into the country OR the urban scenery of the city. Living in Newmarket allows you to be able to make either of those choices on a total whim... and at the end of your trip, when all is said and done, you can finally bring yourself back home to Newmarket and relax in the relative peace and pace of this fine city.
